The Purple Stuff shoes are an homage to the great city and hip hop culture in H-town (Houston TX). A purple “cocktail” made famous by the late DJ Screw known as purple drank is made in a white Styrofoam cup with ice and soda.
The toe of the shoe is made of white grain Caribou hide to symbolized the a white Styrofoam cup. Inside the cup toe you will find hand tooled and painted purple drank and ice splashing the rim. The sides of the shoes are grey matte genuine American alligator skin. The swoosh and tongue are made from a natural & gold spec ring lizard that boasts a shimmering unique design. The purple lizard waves on the lace guard and wrapping around the sole were a custom pattern design added to symbolize the spilling drank around the shoe. Notice the triple stitching detail on the waves to invoke movement in the design. If that wasn’t enough the heel is adorned with another custom tooled art piece of a smoking skull. The special order purple lamb skin liner insures the softest skin touch. The “Off White” style laces with the Gold Grill lace guards are the finishing details to make sure every head is turned for these one of a kind Houston legacy.
