Wonder Breds

The Wonder Breds are the luxurious upgraded version of the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” aka “Bred” high-top, the black and red version of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. It was designed by Peter Moore in 1985 and banned from the NBA for breaking uniform regulations. Every time the shoe was worn, Jordan was fined $5,000 per game, Nike paid for all the fees. This shoe is known as a rebels shoe and for starting a craze. GEN1901 created this one with fine exotic sueded black hippo and red ring lizard skin breds. The mix of textures and cracks in the hippo and the patterns in the lizard makes a beautiful combination of hard and soft. Black plonge liner was used for that soft smooth feel on the foot and black kip binding on the tongue for a fancy finish. Everyone will recognize these iconic shoes coming but will look twice at these pieces of art.
